RYE - India Familiarisation Program
When: December 10th to December 20th, 2016
Where: Bangalore, Karnataka - India
Hosted by Clubs: Rotary Bangalore Junction, Bangalore, Indiranagar, East
Application:
Age: 14 – 19 years old (by the time of July 16, 2016)
Participants: Max. 20 participants (2 girls & 2 boys from each district preferred)
Acceptances will be granted on “first come first served” basis subject to district and gender limitations above.
Aim of the Program: Gathering of younger people from various countries, creating better
international understanding, building up friendship across geographical and cultural borders, having fun, exchanging ideas with new friends, and learning more about the way of life in India.
Condition: 1. Be cheerful, open minded and ready to see various cultures & new friends.
2. Be recommended by a Rotary Club in your own district/country.
3. Be rule abiding.
Languages: English
Accomodation: Each Participant will experience 3/4 different cultures & Rotarian families from different parts of India.
Insurance: All participants MUST be insured on their costs against illness, accident, third party damages and all other risks, inclusive of repatriation coverage, and according to Rotary International recommendations.
