Day 3 . Projects visit , and Southindian food and more exchange

oday  The plan is to visit  some Community projects  and  get the guests Anna and Andreas  to understand some of the  ways how Rotary Dist 3190  is tackling them ,
Rotary Club Indiranagar  organized the visit.

we are accompanied by Rtn Harish 

The picture above is at Karunashreya  , the one of its kind center in India.  a Flagship Project of Rotary Indiranagar.

  Inside the centre  , as our guide from Karunashreya explains the  need for such a  facility, the difference  its making to the community,  various challenges involved in running such a center etc.

 

Next stop we went to Bharatiya Gramin Mahila Sangha center , 

this center caters to needy women and childre,  , .  on the backdrop of this picture is the construction of  home for elderly and women. this will increase the capacity of this center.

  

TTK Blood Bank , one of the biggest blood banks is doing  youmen service  , the guests got to see the whole process of  how blood  is  used, how it is stored,  about platlets, plasma, and other  processes involved.

The day continued with  a wholesome Southindian Meal  at the Southindies hosted by Rtn Pradeep or Rotary Indiranagar

after a short rest  it was time to enjoy fellowship at the weekly meeting of Rotary Indiranagar
